Terms of service
These terms apply to orders placed on bulbul.sg. Purchases on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop or any other marketplace are governed by that platform's terms.
bulbul.sg is run by Studio Bulbul LLP ("Bulbul", "we", "us"), 2 Jurong East Street 21, #03-116, Singapore 609601. By using this site or placing an order you agree to these terms. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. We may update them from time to time; the version on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.

1. Placing an order
1.1 You order by adding items to your bag and completing checkout. You can check and correct your order up to the moment you confirm payment.
1.2 The order confirmation email you receive is an acknowledgement, not an acceptance. The contract between us is formed when we ship the goods.
1.3 We may decline all or part of an order, for example if an item is out of stock, mispriced, or we do not ship to your address. If that happens we will email you and refund anything you have paid within 14 days.
1.4 To order you must be at least 18 years old and give us accurate contact and delivery details.
2. Prices and payment
2.1 Prices are in Singapore dollars and include GST where it applies. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
2.2 Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify Payments or the other methods shown. We do not see or store your card details.
2.3 If we find a pricing error after you have ordered, we will tell you and give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.
3. Delivery
3.1 Delivery times and charges are set out in our Shipping Policy. Times are estimates; we are not liable for delays caused by the courier, customs or events outside our control, but we will keep you informed and help you chase the parcel.
3.2 Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us. Ownership passes when we have been paid in full.
3.3 Please check your order when it arrives and tell us about any damage or error as set out in the Refund Policy.
4. Returns, refunds and faulty goods
4.1 Returns, exchanges, refunds and warranty claims are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
4.2 Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, including the Lemon Law remedies for goods that do not conform to the contract.
5. Cancellation by you
5.1 You may cancel an order free of charge at any time before it ships by emailing Contact@bulbul.sg. Once an order has shipped, the Refund Policy applies.
6. Stock
6.1 We aim to show accurate stock on the site. If an item you have paid for turns out to be unavailable, we will tell you and refund it.
7. Product information
7.1 We photograph our own products and describe them as accurately as we can. Colour can vary slightly between screens and between production batches, and natural materials such as diatomite and wood vary from piece to piece. These variations are not defects.
8. Events outside our control
8.1 We are not liable for failing to perform, or for delay in performing, any obligation caused by events outside our reasonable control, including courier failure, customs delays, strikes, fire, flood or epidemic. We will tell you if such an event affects your order.
9. Intellectual property
9.1 The content of this site, including text, photographs, product designs and the Bulbul name and bird mark, belongs to Studio Bulbul LLP or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
10. Liability
10.1 We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, or for business losses.
10.2 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
10.3 This site is provided as is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for the content of third-party sites we link to.
11. Privacy
11.1 How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. Questions about personal data: Contact@bulbul.sg or 9239 1987.
12. Complaints
12.1 If something has gone wrong, email Contact@bulbul.sg with your order number. We deal with complaints fairly and in confidence.
13. General
13.1 If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
13.2 These terms are governed by Singapore law and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction. Contracts are concluded in English.
