Return & Exchange Policy

At Bulbul, we put care into every item we send out. Our policies are designed to be clear and fair, ensuring a smooth process if something doesn’t go quite right. Please review the following policies according to your location.


For Orders Within Singapore

Non-Furniture Items

  • We offer a 3-day return window from the date of delivery.

  • Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and returned with the Airway Bill.

  • Return requests must be made by email to Contact@bulbul.sg.

  • Once approved, we will issue a return shipping label and instructions.

  • Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Damages & Issues

  • Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

  • Report any issues such as damage or incorrect items within 2 days.

Non-Returnable Items

We are unable to accept returns on:

  • Fragile items (e.g., diatomite homeware)

  • Personal care items (e.g., copper face masks)

  • Sale items and gift cards

Exchanges

To exchange an item, complete a return and place a new order once approved.

Refunds

  • Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense (3rd party logistics rate, varies by size).

  • Refunds are issued minus delivery charges, once the return is inspected and approved.

  • Please allow time for processing by your bank or credit card company.

Drop-Off Locations

We currently do not support drop-offs. All returns must be handled via courier.


Furniture Items

  • You may reject and return the item upon delivery if it does not meet your expectations.

  • If accepted, a signature is required to confirm acceptance.

  • Furniture is covered by a 6-month warranty for manufacturing defects.

  • Any issues must be reported with clear photos and your order number via Contact@bulbul.sg.

Note: A $40 assessment fee applies for site visits. This will be refunded if the issue is a manufacturing defect.

Important Limitations:

  • Warranty covers only manufacturing defects and normal home use.

  • It excludes wear and tear, improper usage, pest damage, natural material variation, or unauthorised modifications.

  • Structural warranties of up to 10 years may apply depending on the product.

  • Bulbul reserves the right to determine the outcome of any warranty claim.


For International Orders (Including Australia & Malaysia)

We ship internationally with care, but international returns work slightly differently due to distance and shipping costs.

Eligibility for Returns

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Fragile items (e.g., diatomite homeware, ceramics)

  • Any product marked as ‘fragile’ on its product page

  • Used items, sale items, or gift cards

Damaged or Faulty Items

  • Contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos of the damage.

  • We will offer a refund or replacement at no extra cost if the item is faulty or incorrect.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Malaysia: Return shipping must be covered by the customer unless the item is faulty.

  • Australia & other countries: Due to high shipping costs, we only accept returns for damaged or incorrect items. Change-of-mind returns are not accepted.
